POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, starting with the Leipzig project. The role focuses on performing static calculations for timber-based, volumetric, and multi-story modular constructions, supporting factory production, on-site construction, project management, and securing permits of use. The position begins as part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and project demands.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in timber-based, modular, or multi-story structural design.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, SCIA Engineer) and CAD tools.
  • Strong knowledge of German building codes and Eurocodes.
  • Experience in factory-based modular construction and on-site assembly.
  • Fluency in English; German proficiency is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and static calculations for timber-based, volumetric, and modular housing (1M–3M).
  • Use structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, SCIA Engineer) to ensure compliance with German building codes and Eurocodes.
  • Support factory production and optimize designs for manufacturing.
  • Provide technical oversight during on-site construction and assembly.
  • Prepare structural documentation for permits of use and regulatory approvals.
  • Adapt designs to site-specific conditions (based on geodetic surveys, zoning, and B-Plan requirements).
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and international teams for smooth project execution.
