Connexa has an ambitious forward build programme, and this is an exciting opportunity to bring your structural and civil engineering skills to the table to play a part in the design of new passive mobile towers and infrastructure and the performance improvement of existing assets. As a Structural/Civil Engineer you’ll be working with and coordinating Deployment Engineers, Project Managers and Acquisition Managers from within the business and with design teams of external service companies to prepare and document structural designs for engineering projects as well as oversee upgrades and new site build work. Key Responsibilities: Design, analyse, and evaluate structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Prepare detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawing packages for projects. Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety on-site. Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers throughout all project phases. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns. Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering practices. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Proven experience in structural design and engineering, with a focus on telecommunications or vertical infrastructure. Strong understanding of material properties and structural analysis techniques. Familiarity with relevant New Zealand design codes and standards. Experience with engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
