Description:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 7-12 years of expertise to join our team for the Engineering Phase of an onshore oil and gas project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and design, with a focus on oil and gas facilities, and will demonstrate technical proficiency in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7-12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on oil and gas projects.
- Strong command of engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or equivalent structural analysis tools. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SmartPlant 3D, or Tekla is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards such as AISC, API, BS, or Eurocodes.
- Project Experience: Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering for onshore oil and gas facilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel structures, foundations, pipe racks, and equipment supports in compliance with project requirements and international standards.
- Develop detailed engineering deliverables, including calculations, reports, and specifications.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration and consistency of designs.
- Review and approve design drawings, models, and technical documents prepared by designers and drafters.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC and other relevant client standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Conduct technical evaluations, including the review of vendor drawings and technical submittals.
- Support the preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and construction documentation.
- Participate in project reviews, including HAZID/HAZOP, constructability, and model reviews.
- Provide technical support during design and engineering reviews, and address design-related queries.
