Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer specialising in rail projects to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analysing, and overseeing structural aspects of rail infrastructure projects. Develop and review structural designs for rail infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and stations • Perform complex structural calculations and analyses using advanced engineering software • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of structural designs with other engineering disciplines • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress Ensure compliance with local and international structural design codes and safety standards • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers • Participate in project planning and risk assessment activities • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical issues • Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural engineering and rail technology Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent Minimum of 15 years' experience in structural engineering, with a focus on rail projects Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices specific to rail infrastructure Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies In-depth understanding of rail systems and infrastructure components •Expertise in applying structural design codes and standards relevant to rail projects Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Urban Transport and Urban Development Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site supervision Profession: Site Engineer II
