Job Description The Structural Engineer will be based in Egis Global Design Center in Bangkok, with a mission to support international projects. The person will be responsible for carrying out design of structures under the supervision of a Design or Project Manager. Perform structural analysis and detailed design for various types of bridges, viaducts and other civil structures Prepare design and calculation reports Follow up with CAD and BIM production to be in accordance with the design performed Prepare bill of quantity Attend meetings, prepare /distribute meeting minutes Prepare technical reports, progress reports and other documentations Ensure quality of design deliverables including calculation reports and drawings Be familiar and comply with the company’s Safety Policy and Quality Management System The scope of Works covers, but is not limited to: Bridge and viaduct structures (substructures and superstructures) Elevated station structures (substructures and superstructures) Port structures Track work Other civil structures Qualifications Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master's preferred) Minimum of 0-3 years' experience in design. Appetency for bridge and structural design. Knowledge of using international codes such as Eurocodes, ACI, AASHTO. A first experience with a structural modelling software such as Sofistik, SCIA, Midas or similar Pack Office skills – Mastery of Excel is a must (VBA is a plus). Ability to work in an international context – Good level of English (speaking & writing) Ability to work under pressure with good working attitude. Ability to analyse and communicate, outstanding writing skills and synthesis spirit. Teamwork
