Eilbeck Cranes is a 100% Australian owned company operating in Australia for 118 years specialising the design, manufacture and installation of all types of overhead cranes, hoists and winches.
We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer, with a passion to work with Steel structures within the overhead crane industry.
The successful candidate will join our professional team of engineers in our Sydney office and will contribute engineering skills and expertise to our massive ongoing projects.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Related engineering qualification
  • Interest in steel structures in the Overhead Crane Industry, overhead crane runways, overhead crane bridges, Hoists and trollies and all associated steel works with overhead cranes
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and organisational skills ability to contribute relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge about our product range and willing to grow with the organisation.
  • A commitment to be flexible of longer working hours and focus on outcomes by maintaining positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in AUTO-CAD, 3d- software, MICROSOFT OFFICE.
  • Knowledge on SPACE GASS or similar structural software is essential but not mandatory.
  • Drive to consistently do your best and want to develop and be part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead & own the process of preparation of design deliverables with consideration for applicable Codes & Standards
  • Be responsible for calculations at quotation and post award stage for cranes, portals, semi portals, structures and any other structural requirements.
  • Achieve required accreditations to legally operate in all states of Australia.
  • Have a thorough understanding and practical interpretation of AS1418, AS4100, AS3990 and AS1554 as a minimum.
