Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Entry Level Structural Engineer for full-time employment. The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate, upcoming spring semester graduate, or an engineer with up to a few years of experience, who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, and work in a professional fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work semi-independently Possess basic level computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and a working knowledge of computer-aided drafting KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Requirements Include: A bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, or a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis on structures Coursework or experience in concrete and steel design Registration as an E.I.T. Additional Education and Experience Preferred (not required) Include: A master’s degree in Structural Engineering, or a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis on structures 1-3 years professional work experience Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit Experience with structural analysis software Experience with masonry and/or timber design This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
