We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to perform a variety of essential engineering functions, including structural inspections, assessment and reporting of fixed plant assets, balanced machines, and non-process infrastructure. You will also review structural drawings and calculations, and provide design input for minor structural works.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong background in structural design, analysis, and inspection.
  • Solid understanding of mining equipment and fixed plant operations.
  • Knowledge of asset management systems, especially as it relates to infrastructure performance.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical and civil engineering principles in mining or heavy industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Membership (or eligibility) with Engineers Australia
  • Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
  • Valid C-Class WA Driver’s Licence.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct structural inspections, defect assessments, and reporting across a wide range of site assets.
  • Perform structural analysis and design of non-complex structures.
  • Review technical drawings and engineering calculations.
  • Provide expertise on fixed plant, balanced machines, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Support asset management strategies with a strong understanding of operational environments.
  • Apply knowledge in geotechnical and civil works to multidisciplinary tasks.
