Purpose & Scope Structural engineer shall design structures that will withstand the operating and transportation loads likely to be incurred during the life-cycle of the product. Typical products include offshore topside, modular buildings, trailers, tanks, skids, equipment frames, containers, cargo baskets & other mobile structures. Develop initial designs, using mathematics to calculate the stress that could arise at each point in the structure, and simulate and model possible situations, such as high winds and dynamics loads.
