QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis on Structures.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Engineering-In-Training Certification required

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of industry standards and structural codes
• Experience in designing with wood, steel, concrete, and reinforced masonry.
• Proficiency with structural analysis programs such as RAM structural systems and STADD

• Perform structural analysis and calculations
• Prepare construction plans, details, and structural notes
• Prepare structural reports
• Review shop drawings
• Perform site investigations and construction inspections
• Coordinate directly with team members, architects, developers and contractors
• Foster relationships with clients and develop new work opportunities
• Mentor junior staff
