We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in structural engineering assessment and inspection of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry and timber. The candidate must be willing to travel for work and take technical lean on projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural engineering assessments and inspections of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry and timber
  • Ensure that quality and consistency of technical output (drawings, reports etc.) is maintained
  • Prepare high quality technical reports including structural surveys
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors and other professionals to deliver projects within deadlines
  • Provide technical leadership and support to other team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Chartered or near Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE)
  • Varied experience in all the common forms of construction and building types
  • Experience in the use of Eurocodes
  • Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required
  • Experience of structural analysis design and software essential
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
