Responsibilities

This is a full-time, in-office position, working a steady 8 AM to 5 PM schedule with approximately 5% travel as needed.
As a Structural Engineer with Klute, you will design and analyze steel structures for transmission lines and power substations. You start your morning by reviewing project specifications and preparing preliminary/bid calculations. Collaborating with architects, project managers, and clients, you develop effective engineering solutions. After lunch, you dive into preparing detailed engineering drawings and reviewing shop drawings, ensuring all designs meet safety standards and specifications. Occasionally, you conduct site visits to inspect ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with design requirements.
