Structural Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Develop structural concepts for satellites and payloads
  • Take responsibility for defining structural requirements
  • Handle structural sizing and analysis, including engineering planning, coordination, conducting structural analyses, modeling, assessment, documentation, and communicating results
  • Define and support structural verification tests, including test planning, prediction, execution, and evaluation
  • Provide technical support to systems engineering in the structural domain
  • Support or manage subcontractors technically
  • Lead a structural development team
  • Prepare documentation and conduct reviews
  • Support the development and maintenance of processes, tools, and methods
  • Perform other reasonable, comparable tasks aligned with your qualifications and skills

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of structural mechanics
  • Experience with static, dynamic, acoustic, and thermo-elastic analysis
  • Basic understanding of systems engineering
  • Proficient with structural analysis software such as Hyperworks and NASTRAN
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Organized, structured, and goal-oriented work style
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for business
