QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, specializing in structural engineering;
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience (Canadian experience preferred);
• Experience with commercial building permit applications is a strong asset;
• Solid knowledge of OBC, NBC, and related standards;
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.);
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

• Perform structural design, analysis, and review for various building projects to ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and other relevant standards;
• Prepare and review structural drawings, technical documents, and construction plans;
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams to provide structural expertise and technical support;
• Conduct site inspections and resolve structural issues during construction;
• Assist clients and related authorities in approval, permit, and compliance processes.
