THE OPPORTUNITY:

Tetra Tech is seeking a Structural Engineer, PE, to join our dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from one of our offices in Ann Arbor, MI, Orlando, FL, Louisville, KY or New York, NY office. The successful candidate will work with diverse Tetra Tech team members in the delivery of company project initiatives related to structural engineering. The ideal candidate enjoys working as a team player in a flexible environment and seeing the work followed through during onsite visits

• Lead teams of Structural Engineers and Designers for larger projects, Interface with clients throughout the design and construction process
• Deliver quality projects on time and within budget.
• Mentor and guide junior Engineers.
• Prepare, check, and review design calculations of structural systems.
• Ability to write forensic and investigation reports.
• Define the structural system by modeling in Revit Designing to local and State Codes, as well as Federal Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) guidelines.
• Utilizing advanced structural engineering software tools (RISA software experience preferred)
• Participate in Construction Administration activities when required by the project
