A leading structural engineering firm with a nationwide presence is seeking a Structural Engineer/Project Manager to oversee large-scale, high-impact projects in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 4+ years of structural design/project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale or complex design projects
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, Navisworks, and BIM platforms
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior staff
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Sound understanding of construction methods, code compliance, and project lifecycles
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to develop innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions
Responsibilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary design and project teams to deliver structural engineering solutions on time and within budget
  • Oversee all phases of structural design: from modeling and analysis to producing high-quality construction documents in Revit
  • Interpret client input and turn it into efficient, code-compliant structural systems
  • Coordinate and manage construction administration services including site inspections, RFIs, and submittal reviews
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, project alignment, and high service standards
  • Delegate effectively while still engaging hands-on in technical execution and mentoring of junior engineers
  • Participate in client meetings, proposal preparation, and project presentations
  • Support internal initiatives for continuous improvement, design innovation, and cross-functional collaboration
