Our dynamic growth and continued success has created a new opportunity for a Sr. Structural Engineer/Project Manager in our Chicago Loop office. Every project brings a new puzzle that requires creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills. This position offers the opportunity to become part of a well-established structural group.

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR OUR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER POSITION, WE ARE CONSIDERING CANDIDATES WHO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in structural design of buildings.
• Experience managing projects.
• Professional registration as a SE.
• Working knowledge of REVIT.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.

• Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
• Design and analyze structural systems for mid-rise buildings.
• Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.
• Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.
