Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in structural works within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of structural codes, standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Experience in preparing inspection requests, QA/QC documentation, and liaising with RTOs and authorities.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Plan, design, and oversee construction and structural engineering works to ensure compliance with design, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Prepare and submit inspection requests for structural works, including Inspection Forms for RTO inspections .
Coordinate and carry out site inspections with the RTO, consultants, and relevant authorities.
Manage and monitor QA/QC control of structural works , including coordination with subcontractors to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
Supervise structural construction activities to ensure workmanship, materials, and methods comply with design intent and code requirements.
Identify, report, and resolve technical and site issues in a timely manner.
Prepare progress reports, method statements, and technical documentation.
Liaise with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
