Your Opportunity An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Structural Engineer in our New Haven or Hartford, CT offices. The successful candidate will become part of an exciting and dynamic structures team and will have opportunities to contribute to large projects throughout North America. Your Key Responsibilities Oversee design and preparation of contract documents for new bridges and rehabilitation of existing bridges Perform load rating analysis of existing bridges Perform design calculations, drawings, and details for various bridge design projects Mentor and monitor junior structural engineers Review shop drawings produced by fabricators and detailers, calculations performed by other engineers, coordinate with design team, site visits to address site issues and verify existing conditions, and respond to request for information Assist with the management and administration of projects, including budget tracking, developing staffing requirements, coordinating quality reviews, and assuring compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environment fundamentals Coordinate with clients as required to assure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Responsibilities
The Structural Engineer will oversee the design and preparation of contract documents for new bridges and the rehabilitation of existing bridges. They will also perform load rating analysis and assist with project management tasks.
