Structural Project Engineer is a full-time position in our West Sacramento office. The Structural PE oversees the technical aspects of engineering projects from inception to completion. The role involves conceptualizing & planning, designing, and executing the structural design through multiple project phases while coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of engineering experience and a degree in civil engineering (or 2+ years of engineering experience in residential wood construction), a full understanding of engineering design principles, and an eagerness to grow their career.
Personal Traits & Skills:
2-6+ years of wood-framed structural design experience (degrees and/or licensure optional but welcome!)
Technology-savvy
Ability to identify potential issues, adapt, and problem-solve
Team-oriented, collaborative, and an effective communicator
Critical thinker with an attention to detail and ability to make decisions
Knowledge of building codes and jurisdictional regulations
Familiar with MEP systems
