Job Title:Structural Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the project team in the delivery of exemplary buildings.
• Assist with detailed designs in collaboration with internal and external engineers, other disciplines and referring to the Delivery Manager and/or Lead Engineer.
• Contribution to the technical development team.
• Producing structural design packages.
• Producing temporary works packages.
• Prioritising tasks and focusing on objectives.
• Reviewing and checking of structural design packages produced by external engineers.
• Using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Teddsand spreadsheets to produce designs.

Required Skills:

• A relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably with a focus on timber construction or similar areas of study.
• Experience in timber engineering and modern methods of construction.
• Design skills using Eurocodes in timber and steel.
• Comfortable undertaking hand calculations and using spreadsheets.
• Competence in using computer design software packages.
• Analytical thinking with an eye for detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to take initiative, ownership, and responsibility for your work.
