Description
We are looking for a Structural Engineering Project Manager (Entry to Mid-Level) to support the design and execution of structural projects across a variety of building types. This role works within a collaborative engineering environment focused on delivering efficient, code-compliant, and practical structural solutions. The position is ideal for someone early in their project management career who wants to grow into full project ownership while strengthening both technical and client-facing skills. You will play a key role in coordinating design efforts, managing timelines, and supporting successful project delivery. Responsibilities Assist in managing structural engineering projects from design through construction completion Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure project alignment Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and construction documents Support development of project schedules, budgets, and deliverables Conduct site visits and assist with field observations and reporting Review project specifications and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards Track project progress and communicate updates to internal teams and stakeholders Assist with RFIs, submittals, and construction administration tasks Identify and resolve design or coordination issues to maintain project timelines 2–6 years of experience in structural engineering or related field Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required EIT certification preferred; PE license or progress toward licensure is a plus Experience with structural design software such as RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit Understanding of structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners Competitive salary based on experience.
