REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering
• PE or SE license required (Idaho or ability to obtain quickly)
• 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong design portfolio and client-facing experience
• Proficiency in structural design software (RISA, RAM, ETABS, Revit, etc.)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfaction

EVstudio is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to anchor our Boise structural team. This is a high-impact role for a licensed engineer who’s ready to take ownership of business development efforts for a region, grow a Boise-based team, and collaborate across disciplines within a dynamic and integrated design firm. As the senior-most structural professional in our Boise office, you’ll be shaping project delivery, guiding junior staff, and collaborating closely with our architecture, civil, and MEP teams.

• Lead structural design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi-family, and mixed-use projects
• Serve in a client-facing role to market our structural engineering services, expand the EVstudio brand, and provide top notch customer service
• Serve as the technical lead on structural systems including wood, steel, concrete, and masonry
• Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents
• Mentor and supervise structural EITs and junior engineers
• Coordinate with architects and other in-house disciplines for integrated project delivery
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and development of internal design standards
