REQUIREMENTS

· Master’s degree or higher in Structural or Structural Fire Engineering
· Chartership or working towards Chartership
· Proven experience in fire safety engineering and structural design
· Strong understanding of building codes, fire regulations, and industry standards
· Proficiency in fire modelling software, FEM software, and standard engineering design tools

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS:

· Designing steel, concrete, and other traditional construction materials at both ambient and fire conditions
· Designing CLT and mass timber at both ambient and fire conditions
· Experience in fire modelling natural fires, localized fires, and CFD

Responsibilities

STRUCTURAL FIRE ENGINEER | THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Structural Fire/Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help us grow our business within a supportive organisation that encourages professional growth and career development. As part of the team, you will also have the chance to contribute to our research, development, and innovation (RD&I) initiatives and help advance the fields of structural fire engineering, fire engineering, and facades.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Project management of structural fire engineering projects
· Responsibility for the financial performance of projects
· Active involvement in business development and assisting the team in meeting its strategic goals
· Working with Associates and Directors to prepare proposals for our customers
· Support in the development of the long-term strategy for the team
· Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
· Attendance to design meetings
· Attendance and participation in conferences and be proactive with learning opportunities
· Taking a proactive approach to customers and projects
