Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Structural Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings and structures throughout the region. This position requires a professional approach, strong organizational skills, and a cautious mindset to identify potential structural issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, bridges, and other structures to assess their structural integrity and safety Identify and document structural defects, damage, or deterioration using advanced inspection techniques and equipment Prepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, findings, and recommended corrective actions Analyze structural components and systems to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address structural concerns and implement solutions Perform risk assessments and recommend preventive maintenance measures to extend the lifespan of structures Stay up-to-date with industry standards, safety regulations, and inspection methodologies Maintain accurate records of inspections and contribute to the development of structural inspection databases Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures during all inspection activities Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, stakeholders, and team members on structural integrity matters Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field In-depth knowledge of structural defects, material behavior, and deterioration mechanisms Familiarity with relevant inspection standards and safety regulations, including local Saudi Arabian building codes Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent report writing abilities and proficiency in inspection software or asset management systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various site locations within the Riyadh region Physical ability to access and inspect various structural components, sometimes in challenging environments Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional integrity
