Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Inspector to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a key member of our construction supervision team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our projects in this rapidly developing city. Conduct daily site inspections for all structural works, ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements Monitor contractor activities to verify that construction practices meet Qatar authority requirements and international standards Identify and report deviations or non-conformities, issuing Site Observation Reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed Review and validate inspections related to concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, structural steel, foundations, and other structural elements Collaborate closely with project team members, including engineers, architects, and specialists, to resolve structural issues efficiently Verify that contractors maintain proper documentation, testing, and quality records Ensure all works follow approved method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures Provide clear guidance to contractors for timely resolution of site-related structural issues Maintain organized and accurate inspection records with photographs, comments, and compliance notes Enforce strict compliance with health and safety protocols during all inspection activities Adapt inspection techniques and standards to local building practices and materials used in Qatar Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required) Minimum of 8 years of structural site inspection experience, preferably in Qatar or the Gulf region Strong understanding of structural materials, workmanship, defects, and typical deterioration mechanisms In-depth knowledge of Qatar building codes, authority requirements, and relevant international standards Proven ability to interpret drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements with high accuracy Proficiency in standard inspection tools, site testing coordination, and documentation procedures Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, especially in identifying non-conformities Excellent technical report writing skills and familiarity with digital inspection platforms or QA/QC systems Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage Valid Qatar or international driver's license, with ability to obtain a local license if necessary Physical capability to access structural elements in constrained or elevated locations when required Demonstrated commitment to health & safety, professional ethics, and maintaining quality standards Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural team environment and adapt to varying site conditions Familiarity with local construction practices and materials commonly used in Qatar Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Additional Information Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Project Contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Services and Operations Profession: Operation and Maintenance - OMI - General Management
