The successful Structural or Civil Engineer will work closely with experienced surveying and engineering professionals, providing practical structural and civil engineering advice to clients across a broad range of properties and projects.

The Role

As a Structural or Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and structures, preparing calculations and technical reports, and developing suitable engineering solutions. • Producing and reviewing structural designs
  • Supporting projects from initial investigation through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, architects and other consultants
  • Ensuring work complies with relevant UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Eurocodes

The successful Structural or Civil Engineer will need strong technical knowledge alongside the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical clients.

Required Experience

The ideal Structural or Civil Engineer will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline, alongside relevant UK industry experience.

Membership of, or progress towards membership with, a relevant professional body such as ICE or IStructE would be advantageous. Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status is also desirable.
