DCI Engineers, a leading structural and civil engineering consulting firm with 20+ offices spanning the United States, has an opportunity for a full-time Structural Project Engineer in its Bozeman office.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER:

  • 1-3 years of structural engineering experience
  • Working knowledge and project experience using steel, concrete, wood, and/or masonry design materials
  • Experience designing all categories of seismic and gravity framing systems for building and material type
  • Basic knowledge of codes such as AISC, ACI 318, IBC, and ASCE 7
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis software, such as RAM, Enercalc, etc.
  • Ability to manage your time, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Desire to provide excellent service and build client relationships
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Effective communication skills
  • Possess a state-issued Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate
  • Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university, preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities
  • Perform and coordinate the structural design of assigned projects under the supervision of the Project Manager
  • Collaborate with BIM Designers to produce structural construction documents and draft details in REVIT
  • Assist Project Managers with Construction Support, including shop drawing review and answering RFIs
  • Be attentive to details and provide accurate construction documents
  • Progressively grow your technical knowledge through both internal project experience and continuing education
