THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Revit Modeller to become a permanent member of our creative and friendly Property, Science, Industry and Technology team in South Africa, location Johannesburg or Durban. You will be and be a key part of our wider South African multidisciplinary, collaborative team. Our projects are local and global and will allow you to work and succeed in an international, multi-cultural business environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural modeling and a passion for creating accurate and efficient designs using Revit software. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to produce high-quality structural models and drawings.
Create and manage detailed 3D models of structural elements using Revit software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs with architectural and MEP models. Generate detailed construction drawings, including plans, sections, and details, from Revit models. Ensure that structural models are coordinated with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) models to avoid clashes and ensure seamless integration. Perform regular quality checks on Revit models and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Adhere to and help develop BIM standards and protocols within the organization. Provide input on project timelines, resource allocation, and potential design challenges. Keep up to date with the latest Revit software updates, industry trends, and best practices in structural modeling.
