Description
Position Title: Structural Service Engineer Department: Aftermarket / Field Services Location: Dammam Industrial City, KSA Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Perform structural inspections and assessments of rig components such as masts, substructures, and cranes. Carry out inspections and prepare technical reports in accordance with NOV standards. Identifying fatigue or corrosion issues. Ability to review repair procedures, structural calculations, and modification plans. Coordinate with field service teams, engineering, and customers for inspection findings and repair execution. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and inspection standards (API, NOV PI4G, ISO, etc.). Support preparation of documentation packages. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural inspection, maintenance, or rig fabrication/aftermarket support. Good knowledge of NDT methods, structural drawings, and international standards (API, ISO, DNV). Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel to rig sites and fabrication yards as required.
