Structural steel fabrication company requires an experienced structural steel fabricator and installer.

• Fabricate and weld products in accordance with approved weld procedures and drawings
• Ensure structural steelwork is installed correctly and to mark out plans/ drawings
• Operating fabrication/welding tools and machinery
• Measuring and cutting materials
• Demonstrate ability to read & interpret Engineering drawings
• Ensure all tools/equipment are well maintained and safe
• Keep work area tidy and well maintained at all times
• Carry out workshop/on-site duties as directed
• Must be punctual, reliable and demonstrate good communication skills with a ‘can do attitude’

Experience/Qualifications:

• Ticketed/certified welder is a must
• Must have at least 3 years in with structural materials, steel fabrication and MIG & Stick welding
• Must have white card
• Preferable to have Australian driver license but not a must
• Preferable to have a forklift license but not a must
• Preferable to have own tools but not a must

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
