Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Structural Steel MIG Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding on structural steel components used in various construction and industrial projects. Your expertise and precision will ensure the strength and durability of steel structures, contributing to the success of our projects. If you have experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to weld structural steel components accurately and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications. Perform cutting, fitting, and assembling of steel parts before welding. Inspect welds for quality, strength, and adherence to safety standards. Maintain welding equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition. Work collaboratively with fabrication and construction teams to meet project deadlines and quality expectations. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Document welding activities and report any issues to supervisors promptly. High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification with an emphasis on MIG welding preferred. Proven experience as a MIG Welder, particularly with structural steel. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols accurately. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds. Physical ability to perform welding tasks and work in various environments. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Familiarity with welding equipment maintenance and proper handling procedures.
Responsibilities
The welder will set up and operate MIG welding equipment to assemble and join structural steel components according to blueprints. They are also responsible for inspecting welds for quality and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
