REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience leading and delivering complex structural design projects with technical and operational accountability.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license required.
  • Proven track record in team leadership, client engagement, and successful project delivery across a variety of markets.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are excited to offer a leadership opportunity for a Vice President of Structural Engineering to join and shape our growing Structural Practice in Toronto. This role is ideal for a technically strong and visionary leader who thrives on developing people, delivering complex projects, and expanding client relationships. As Vice President, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee high-value structural projects, and contribute to the strategic growth of the firm through technical excellence and business development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to engineering teams, ensuring successful delivery of technically complex structural projects.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, talent development, and clear performance expectations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients by understanding project goals and ensuring outstanding service and results.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to identify opportunities, craft proposals, and grow client accounts through business development pursuits.
  • Oversee and contribute to the analysis and design of structural systems for a wide range of building types and materials, utilizing current building codes and standards.
  • Supervise multi-disciplinary teams in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and technical deliverables.
