STRUCTURAL WELDER JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

EXPERIENCE

• Journeyman or apprentice welder ticket is preferred.
• Proficiency in structural welding.
• Proven experience in welding.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other welding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures to determine project requirements.
• Perform structural welding using SMAW, FCAW and GMAW processes.
• Fit, assemble, and weld structural components in accordance with company and code requirements.
• Ensure all welds meet quality control and safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and fabricate metal structures.
• Conduct rigging operations for lifting heavy materials using overhead cranes.
• Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
