OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structural principles and be adept at using various engineering software to design and analyse structures. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within regulatory guidelines.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, Mathcad, and other CAD software is essential.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent mathematical skills for structural analysis and design calculations.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials relevant to structural engineering.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to create detailed drawings and models.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to develop project timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation related to design calculations, specifications, and project updates.
  • Engage in system design for new structures while considering sustainability and environmental impact.
  • Provide support during the construction phase by addressing any structural issues that arise on-site.
