Shoreline is seeking a motivated Structured Cabling & Installation Technician to support businesses across Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. This role offers a hands-on work environment with daily variety, unique challenges, and opportunities to work with a wide range of technologies. You’ll gain experience working with: Structured cabling systems IT infrastructure installations Security systems (doors, cameras) Audio and video systems Telecommunications equipment Job Overview Provide onsite support for structured cabling and equipment installations for a diverse client base. Your primary responsibility will be installing physical equipment and cabling that form the foundation of client technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install structured cabling and hardware systems onsite Assist with deployment of IT and low-voltage systems Work with team members to complete projects efficiently Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail Ensure installations meet client and company standards Requirements Ability to safely use power tools Strong communication skills Friendly and professional demeanor Strong attention to detail Organized and dependable Strong work ethic with a focus on quality Customer-focused and able to remain calm under pressure Preferred Experience Previous construction or hands-on labor experience Experience working with technology or IT systems Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience (preferred but not required) Compensation Salary: $31,000 – $45,000 per year (Based on experience, skills, and certifications) Benefits Paid time off Flexible hours Tools and technology provided Company vehicle and gas Meals and lodging covered for out-of-area work Job Type Full-time Requirements Experience Requirements MSP experience: 1 year (Preferred) General technology experience: 1 year (Preferred) Location Requirements Must be able to commute to Muskegon, MI (49444) Must be willing to relocate before starting if not local Additional Preferences Preference will be given to candidates with: Clean background (no prior convictions or felonies) Military service (especially with active security clearance) Clean driving record 3+ professional references
