Founded in 2003, we employ thirty-five plus individuals, and have an established customer base of approximately 1200 businesses. We are a full-service technology company focusing on information technology systems and networks, low-voltage structured cabling and fiber optics, phone systems, surveillance camera systems, and door access systems. We are looking for Structured Cabling Technicians to help our company grow and better serve our customers.

Join our team as a Structured Cabling Specialist, where you’ll take charge of installing, configuring, maintaining, testing, and repairing low voltage cable plants, door access, and surveillance systems. Operating with minimal supervision, we need individuals who thrive on independence, excel in implementing intricate projects, and meticulously document their productivity throughout the day. This position entails onsite work in the vibrant city of Bozeman, MT.

  • Technicians must be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic to achieve top-notch technical skills in cabling systems and manufacturing/industrial cabling standards.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and exhibit a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Experience with low voltage and fiber optic cabling is preferred, but not required.
  • The ability to drive to client locations (must have a clean driving record and valid license), work inside & outside, physically navigate the work environment, using a 12-foot ladder, and consistently lift 60 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • First and foremost, our Cable Technicians must achieve outstanding customer and vendor satisfaction.
  • Performs installs, configures, maintains, tests, and repairs low voltage cable plants, fiber optic cable, door access and surveillance systems.
  • Building Access Control Wiring and Door Prep; Understanding and implementing access control systems, which include electronic locks, keycard readers, biometric scanners, and other security measures.
  • Installing and configuring wiring infrastructure to connect access control devices to central control panels or network hubs.
  • Configuring surveillance systems for remote monitoring and management, including access via mobile devices or web interfaces.
  • Camera Calibration and Testing: Adjusting camera settings, lenses, and angles for optimal image quality and coverage.
  • Documents work and network configurations.
  • Assists with IT/Network and phone system related projects.
  • Performs other cable related tasks as requested by management.
  • Achieves 60-85% average billable productivity and enters billable time daily.
