Within our Structured Products team at Delta Capita in Singapore, we are recruiting for a Structured Product Legal Documentation Specialist. Our team provide support in relation to structured product legal documentation in relation to automation, drafting and issuance support. We support a wide range of tier one Investment Banks, facilitating their structured products businesses, across asset classes.

Our services cover all aspects of structured product issuance, with a core focus on Legal Documentation, Transaction Management, and Product Governance services. Our core mission is to enable our clients to comply with regulatory obligations, transform and simplify their operations, reduce costs and adopt innovative business models and technologies.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop new and maintain/update existing templates for legal documentation automation (including Termsheets, Pricing Supplements, Final Terms, Summaries and ancillary documentation) for structured product transactions;
  • Review the above templates for accuracy against the base template provided by the client and the specific trade details;
  • Draft and review legal documentation (Pricing Supplements, Final Terms, Summaries and ancillary documentation) for structured product transactions that fall outside of automation;
  • Manage a pipeline of work/transactions, adhering to deadlines and providing oversight of status and progress;
  • Partner with the legal department when required to review legal documentation and templates for new or adapted payoffs;
  • Initiate process improvements and leverage technology for document automation;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts in Operations, Structuring, Legal and Trading
  • Have templating/automation capabilities in developing templates for transactional documents, including but not limited to Structured Products Term Sheets and Pricing Supplements/Final Terms, OTC Term Sheets and Confirmations.
  • Testing of automation templates – including planning, tooling, monitoring, progress reporting and regression testing.
  • Managing the Automation of Documentation – Planning, prioritization, monitoring STP progress, MI compilation, STP break analysis, team communications.
  • Experience within the financial service industry drafting and templating issuance documentation for securities or structured products, or complex or non-standard derivatives;
  • Experience working on structured products and/or derivative transactions;
  • Highly organized and extremely detail oriented;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritise workflow in order to meet deadlines;
  • Past experience of working as part of a team and understanding the impact that delivery of your work has on your colleagues;
  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work;
  • A strong work ethic proven by previous working experience;
  • Word, Excel, Outlook (or similar) skills to a high standard.
