We are looking for a qualified Structural Engineer who is committed to managing our clients’ existing bridge asset portfolios. Your primary focus will be asset management and overseeing the quality and safety of structural assets across Northland. A background in either design or construction of bridges/civil structures, with experience in managing bridges, civil structures, or similar assets is preferable including:

• Assessing existing bridge assets.
• Designing and delivering upgrades or remedial works to existing assets.
• Partnering with clients to understand their long-term plans and help manage their forward works programmes.

You will be collaborative with strong solution focused problem-solving skills, a good communicator, organised, and a desire to continually to learn and grow your technical and consulting skills, and you’ll enjoy having fun along the way.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in a consulting environment.
• Professional registration or on a clear path to achieving registration.
