Job Description
AECOM’s Construction Supervision practice is currently seeking an experienced Structures Manager, to join one of our projects, based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering and construction management, with a strong ability to lead and coordinate complex projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering and construction management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage structural aspects of construction supervision projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure structural designs are integrated seamlessly into overall project plans.
  • Construction Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and structural standards.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding structural matters, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of structural engineers and construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all structural work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review project documentation, including structural reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any structural issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
