We specialise in infrastructure construction with a strong focus on reinforced concrete. Our current projects span a wide range, including bridges, wharves, water treatment plants, storage tanks, and pipelines.We have a solid portfolio of work going forward and this role is key to ensuring the on-going success, as well as future relationships with our clients through efficient delivery of quality projects. As a supervisor you may lead multiple operational crews therefore, we’re looking for someone that is dedicated in their work and able to be hands on when needed to ensure the successful delivery of the projects. You will be meticulous in planning and organising work safely, while making sure that all resources are available to execute the job, this includes people, plant and materials in your area of control. In addition to the above you will: Manage and coordinate daily activities of your crew and contractors on civil projects Ensure quality works per the specifications and per schedule Lead and drive HSQE on site, ensuring compliance with FH and H&S standards Maintain a positive rapport with suppliers, clients, subcontractors, and inspectors Maintain accurate records of work completed, incidents, and site progress Troubleshoot problems and resolve on-site issues promptly Drive development and encourage a positive work environment Report progress, issues, and needs to the Site Manager or Project Manager We have a solid portfolio of work going forward and this role is key to ensuring the on-going success, as well as future relationships with our clients through efficient delivery of quality projects. We’re looking for someone with: Minimum of 8 years’ experience at Supervisor/superintendent level At least 5 years' experience in heavy civil and structural areas including bridge building, retaining walls, piling, civil structures or commercial building utilising concrete, precast and structural steel Holds a Class 1 and WTR Endorsement Able to grow and develop teams and encourage a positive work environment Has strong H&S mindset and attitude Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Strong leadership and time management abilities Creating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
