Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family We’re looking for an experienced Project Supervisor in the heavy civil and structures space to join us in Wellington. Leveraging your extensive expertise in heavy concrete and structural work, combined with your ability to lead by example, you will drive operational excellence and deliver high quality outcomes across projects. As our supervisor, you will be overseeing and coordinating two concrete water retaining structures, therefore we’re looking for someone that is dedicated in their work and able to be hands on when needed to ensure the successful delivery of the projects. In addition to the above you will: Manage and coordinate daily activities of your crew and contractors on civil projects Ensure quality works per the specifications and per schedule Lead and drive HSQE on site, ensuring compliance with FH and H&S standards Maintain a positive rapport with suppliers, clients, subcontractors, and inspectors Maintain accurate records of work completed, incidents, and site progress Troubleshoot problems and resolve on-site issues promptly Drive development and encourage a positive work environment Report progress, issues, and needs to the Site Manager or Project Manager There is lots of opportunity here in Fulton Hogan, so there will be plenty of opportunity in Wellington or around NZ. We’re looking for someone with: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Civil Supervisor/Superintendent level Experience in heavy civil and structural areas including bridge building, retaining walls, civil structures or commercial building utilising concrete, precast and structural steel valued at over (10M+) Able to grow teams and encourage a positive work environment Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Good leadership and budgeting experience Creating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities. Responsibilities
