Description Title: Fab Tech – Stud Welder Days: Monday–Friday Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $25/hour The duties listed below are intended as a guide for the employee in this position. They are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be required during the course of employment. LICENSES: Valid Driver’s License Welding Certification (TBD) ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a steel fabrication environment, both internally and externally Position is exposed to multiple climate conditions PPE required: safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and hearing protection (designated areas) SKILLS: Ability to work as part of a team Ability to meet deadlines for work completion Ability to assume responsibility for all required documentation Ability to train customers on the stud welding process including setup, production, and quality control Strong reading skills Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, and calipers proficiently Requirements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to make sound judgments Ability to interpret orders, forms, prints, and documents, and take appropriate action RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver, set up, and operate multiple types of stud welding machines Troubleshoot and repair stud welding equipment for TSA Manufacturing and customer locations Provide preventative maintenance to the assigned customer list on a routine basis Identify sales opportunities through L.A.E.R.
