Automotive Training Center (ATC) www.autotraining.edu is an award-winning post-secondary career training school with campuses located in Exton (Chester County) PA. and Warminster (Bucks County). We currently have an immediate opening for a Student Account Administrator/ Bursar for the Exton Campus.
The primary responsibility of the Student Account Administrator/ Bursar is to maintain student financial accounts including billing, collecting payments, managing accounts receivable, disbursing Title IV financial aid funds, balancing daily cash transactions and preparing and making daily deposits. In addition, this position creates student class schedules and post grades at the end of each class.
This position is also responsible for managing and scheduling the school’s PENNDOT certification classes which includes speaking with prospects over the phone and via email to schedule them for classes, followed up by communicating with PENNDOT to obtain their certification.
Additional duties include participating in new student orientation and maintaining an inventory of student books, tools, uniforms by working with outside vendors.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills along with a strong work ethic and a pleasant personality. Position requires a flexible work schedule, reliable transportation and the ability to work independently.
The position requires that you work one night per week.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Candidates must be a high school graduate. A college degree is preferred but will consider work experience lieu of a degree.
Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent math, bookkeeping, and basic accounting skills.
Experience in Education or Bookkeeping is a plus.

· Responsible for providing excellent customer service as the initial contact for students, parents, faculty and staff who visit the Student Account Administrator/ Bursar Office, with the goal of providing accurate account information, and a positive image of ATC’s commitment to students.
· Basic overall computer knowledge along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Manage students account balances and collect tuition payments.
· Maintain daily reports and request reimbursement funds for Petty Cash Reimbursements.
· Set up student’s class schedule and rosters: Schedule students to classes, enter grades, and the printing and sorting of report cards.
· Third Party Collection referral for overdue accounts.
· Fill in with other duties as needed
· Order & maintain inventory of supplies for students, as needed.
· Coordinate after-hours certification courses for safety and emissions inspection.
· Request checks for funds, as needed.
