QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience in event coordination, social media, or student services
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.), Canva, and MS Office
· Creative eye for visual content and storytelling
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
· Experience working with international students is an asset
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay Grade: $20–$22/hour (commensurate with experience)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

IH Vancouver is seeking a dynamic and creative Student Activity & Social Media Coordinator to enhance student life and expand our digital presence. The successful candidate will plan and lead weekly student activities while managing engaging content across IH Vancouver’s social media channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan, organize, and lead daily and weekly student activities or excursions
· Manage and grow IH Vancouver’s social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
· Capture and edit photos and videos from student events
· Design promotional content using Adobe Suite, Canva, and other tools
· Track engagement metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly
· Contribute to a fun, inclusive, and supportive campus atmosphere
