POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and student-focused Student Advisor to support learners from admission through program completion. This role involves advising, administrative support, coordination of practicum placements, and contributing to student engagement and college marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prior experience in student advising, education services, or a related field preferred

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and administrative software
  • Skilled in Canva or similar graphic design tools for creating marketing materials
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges with a positive attitude

Responsibilities
  • Guide prospective students through the admission and enrollment process
  • Advise students on selecting and registering for appropriate programs
  • Prepare and maintain KPI dashboards to track student and program success
  • Draft and manage student transcripts with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Use the Student Transcript Electronic Protection System (STEPS) to secure academic records
  • Create visually appealing posters and promotional materials for academic programs using Canva and other design tools
  • Prepare internal reports and documentation to support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor tuition payments and send timely reminders to students
  • Engage proactively with students throughout their academic journey to provide support and resolve concerns
  • Identify and coordinate practicum placement sites and opportunities for students
  • Prepare placement proposals and draft placement agreements with partner organizations
  • Submit college-related applications to regulatory bodies and partner institutions
