Job Title: Student Aide Reports To: Department Director Direct Reports: None FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Position Summary The Student Aide supports clinical and administrative operations, as appropriate within a healthcare environment while gaining exposure to patient care workflows. This role assists licensed staff with non‑clinical tasks, promotes a safe and organized care setting, and contributes to positive patient experiences. It is designed for students pursuing a career in healthcare. General Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities. * Observes department flow, skills, tasks, etc., assists as appropriate. * Provide general support, including stocking supplies, preparing rooms, and maintaining clean, orderly work areas. * Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and managing documents. * Complies with all established safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. * Participates in performance improvement activities. * Performs other duties as assigned. Education Requirements * High School diploma / Equivalent Required * Must be enrolled in current accredited program at college/university Experience Requirements * Must meet College to Career Student Work Pathway Program criteria * Must have a strong interest in healthcare careers with a willingness to learn within a clinical setting * Healthcare experience preferred Additional Skills * Ability to work independently, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a dynamic healthcare environment
