About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Student Assessment & Progression Officer to join the Assessment Team based within Academic Registry.
This is a varied and fast paced role however interesting and challenging, through the role you will gain skills and knowledge around some of the functions and processes that are central to supporting the assessments work of the schools within Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine.

Your Main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • To oversee the administration of the Award and Progression Boards primarily for the Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine and gain an understanding of the assessment regulations and how they are administered.
  • Work with the Senior Assessment Officer in reviewing the Personal Circumstances Application submitted by the students experiencing difficulties
  • To provide advice and support to colleagues and students on a range of topics, including degree classification, personal circumstances, eligibility to progress and publication of final results.

  • Have a high level of attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Have willingness to learn about the role
  • Show adaptability to fill an integral role in a highly functioning and busy team
  • Show confidence in communicating complex information to a range of stakeholders
