To support the Student Services department, we are looking for a student assistant (gn*) at the earliest possible date. The workload is designed for approximately 20 hours per week which is compensated with EUR 15 per hour.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled at a state-recognized university.
  • Excellent English skills (written & spoken); German is a plus!
  • Friendly, service-oriented, and confident in interacting with diverse groups.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in your work approach.
  • Team player with a proactive and engaging attitude.
  • Availability at our KLU campus (role requires physical presence).
  • Flexible availability: occasional evenings & weekends for events.

Responsibilities
  • Be the friendly face of Student Services: provide personal consultation and support for (international) students at the Student Info Point.
  • Help students navigate university life: answer inquiries related to Student Affairs (e.g. Student Services, International Office, Program Services).
  • Foster community spirit: organize and promote extracurricular events, from on-campus meetups to virtual meetings (occasional evening & weekend work is required, depending on event schedules).
  • Handle administrative tasks: issue certificates, conduct research, and assist in daily operations.
  • Assist with accommodation matters: support international students in finding and settling into their new homes.
