Germanwatch is a non-profit, independent and science-based organisation that works effectively for justice at the global and national levels, as well as for the protection of human rights and ecological foundations (especially climate, biodiversity, resources). To support the International Climate Policy division to work on “Climate and Energy Diplomacy and Cooperation EU/Germany and China”, we are looking for a student assistant to join our team starting in October 2025, for 16–20 hours per week, contingent on the success of submitted project proposals.

• Research on climate and energy transition-related topics regarding Germany, the EU and China
• Assisting in developing policy briefs and other types of publications
• Organisational support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of events
• Support with general office activities and other administrative tasks
• Summarising and condensing webinars, speeches, and other material.
